Yes-Agreed. It is easier to create scapegoat images of muslims in the media. As one journalist (from a mainstream media outlet) being critical of his own profession said at a meeting that I attended,"these days it is OK to say anything about muslims". Thank you and have a wonderful day.

Hi Seeker,

Critical thinking is occurring within Muslim societies on so many levels. Western media just doesn't cover it.

I was surprised that Wolf Blitzer was making such a big deal out of this cleric's fatwa.

It's not the first time that extremism and terrorism has been condemned and proven to be unIslamic, and it won't be the last.

The role of women, in particular, is being challenged in many Muslim societies.

Recently saw "The Message", the story about the prophet of Islam. Critical thinking needs to occur within Muslim societies on how this message is truly lived. We have become ignorant of the message. Went to a debate recently on women in the Bible and the Quran. Blaming the messenger and implying that his life was is an inappropriate example for us to follow, is an equally ignorant distortion of a perfect example. There is always hope because humans are made resilient and still have the common sense to seek and know the truth.
